In 2004, I had a used up 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee. We he had recently moved, and I had about a forty mile commute to work. This commute was made tolerable with public radio. As the Fall turned to Winter, I noticed my car radio getting….well….strange. When the car’s interior was cold, the distortion was just awful. After driving for thirty minutes with the heat on full, the radio produced crystal clear sound. As you are about to hear, really distorted. I recorded a few seconds at its worst, and turned it into a ring tone. Simply, it is a recording of a malfunctioning radio that was tuned to public radio (two people talking) at the time.
